working hard and playing hard
Chris Stanbury, founder and Managing Director of Cravenplan is a passionate supporter of local life, and very active in the business community. He is ex-chairman of Ambassadors, chairman of Wiltshire Rural Business Club and attends the Chamber of Commerce and North Dorset Business Club meetings. He also undertakes work as an expert witness.
In his free time, he enjoys going on road trips on his motorbike and is also an advanced instructor. He loves all types of music, taking photos (you’ll see him every year at the Larmer Tree Festival) and wearing funny hats. At home he enjoys watching movies with friends and entertaining.
Brett Payne, head of design has been with the company for 7 years and is the guru for sorting out problems. He is also THE gadget man, much better than the Which guide for new boys’ toys.
David Harland, one of Cravenplan’s new recruits is also a specialist blacksmith making his own elaborate designs. He has now opted for a more traditional career ensuring he has regular time off to spend with his wife and baby - let's hope it has more hair than David!
John Birch, with qualifications in computing and a Degree in Business Info Systems, brings the latest technical know-how to the SEO team. Never without his Diet Coke and I-pod, he cannot pass a drum kit without a quick play.
Sean Dominey tries to be the grown up, however he is far too fond of curries. Head of the SEO team he runs a tight ship, but has the best stories in the office.
Sandra Sanders, formerly single-handedly in charge of Gatwick (or so she would have us believe) now keeps the Cravenplan cats happy. It is her voice you will hear answering the phone, so don't be put off if you are put in a holding pattern for the North Terminal!
